Statement on what Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics will consider for publication
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). Redundant publications are strongly discouraged. Each author should have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for its content. All co-authors should have been directly involved in all three of the following: planning and contribution to some component (conception, design, conduct, analysis, or interpretation) of the work which led to the paper or interpreting at least a portion of the results; writing a draft of the article or revising it for intellectual content; and final approval of the version to be published. All authors should review and approve the manuscript before it is submitted for publication, at least as it pertains to their roles in the project.
Peer-review process
All of contents published in Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics should be subjected to peer-review. Manuscripts submitted for Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics will be initially assessed by the editors. Manuscripts passed editor's assessment will be referred to a minimum of two acknowledged experts in the subject, who will make recommendations to the editors concerning the quality of the manuscript.
Only those receiving favorable recommendations from the referees will be accepted for publication. The Editor's decision based on the reviewers' comments is final. Reviewer's judgments should be objective and have no conflict of interests. Manuscripts under review should be treated confidentially. It shall be noted that manuscript acceptance or very short peer review times is not guaranteed.
Authors fees
No fees are required for manuscript processing. Peer review process is mandatory. Publication fee shall be paid by the authors once the article is accepted.

All right reserved by the Editorial Office of Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics. No content published by the journals may be reproduced or abridged without authorization. Please do not use or copy the layout and design of the journals without permission.
Process for identification of and dealing with allegations of research misconduct
Academic misconduct detection system is adopted to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, including but not limited to plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication, among others. Under any circumstances, the journal's publisher or editors shall deal with any academic misconduct seriously. Editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.
Corrections and Retractions
If there is suspicion of misbehavior or alleged fraud, the journal and/or Publisher will carry out an investigation following COPE guidelines. If, after an investigation, there are valid concerns, the authors will be contacted and offered an opportunity to address the issue. Depending on the situation, this may result in the journal and/or Publisher’s implementation of the following measures, including, but not limited to: If the manuscript is still under consideration, it may be rejected and returned to the author; If the article has already been published online, depending on the nature and severity of the infraction: an erratum/correction may be placed with the article. an editor's note or editorial expression of concern may be placed with the article. Or in severe cases, retraction of the article may occur.
The reason will be given in the published erratum/correction, editor's note, editorial expression of concern, or retraction notice. Please note that retraction means that the article is maintained on the platform watermarked “retracted” and the explanation is provided in a note linked to the watermarked article. The author's institution may be informed. A notice of suspected transgression of ethical standards in the peer review system may be included as part of the author’s and article's bibliographic record.
Publishing schedule
Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics publishes four (quarterly) issues per year.
Archiving
Electronic backup and preservation of access to the journal content is in the database of CNKI in the event Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics is no longer published.
Direct marketing
Direct marketing activities, including solicitation of manuscripts that are conducted on behalf of the journal, is appropriate, well targeted, and unobtrusive.
Information provided about the publisher and the journal is truthful and not misleading for readers or authors, as reflected on the official website.
